Leather chairs upholstery project

Eugene Pik · Fellow

An upholstery project. These Costco chairs have a high quality construction, with real wood, plywood, steel springs and wide tension straps. Unfortunately they were upholstered with "pleather" that started pealing. Re-upholsteted them with a good quality leather (crocodile design embossed) and now they look and feel better than new! I used my saddle making skills and tools to make templates, sew and pull leather. The saddle making bulldog pliers also work beautifully for upholstery.
