Weston Trophy Formula
- Judges will mark design out of 10, and workmanship out of 10
- Add all the judges scores together for design on the same article
- Multiply this number by 10
- Add all the judges scores together for workmanship on the same article
- Multiply this number by 10
- Add these two scores (design and workmanship)together and divide by 2
- Divide by the number of judges (this is the average for the piece)
- Repeat for all 4 pieces
- Add the averages of all 4 pieces together, and then divide by 4 to get the guild average

Associate Formula
- Judges will mark design out of 10, and workmanship out of 10
- Add all the judges scores together for design on the same article
- Multiply this number by 7**
- Add all the judges scores together for workmanship on the same article
- Multiply this number by 13**
- Add these two scores (design and workmanship) together and divide by 2
- Divide by the number of judges (this is the average for the piece)
- Repeat for all 4 pieces
- Add the averages of all 4 pieces together, and then divide by 4 to get the overall average
Please note: Minimum 75% (condition on one article)

Fellows Formula
- Judges will mark design out of 10, and workmanship out of 10
- Add all the judges scores together for design on the same article
- Multiply this number by 13**
- Add all the judges scores together for workmanship on the same article
- Multiply this number by 7**
- Add these two scores (design and workmanship) together and divide by 2
- Repeat for all 4 pieces
- Add the averages of all 4 pieces together, and then divide by 4 to get the overall average
Please note: Minimum 80% (no condition)

** The multiplication of the scores by 7 and 13 for Associate and Fellow Judging are used to weight the score more heavily in favour of Workmanship by the Associate, and Design by the Fellow.
