CREATIVE LEATHERCRAFT BRANCH ORGANIZED

The 14-member Woodstock Branch of the Canadian Society of Creative Leathercraft convened for the first meeting at the home of branch president Mrs. James Reynolds for a work session under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Haig of Hamilton. Above from the left, Mr. Haig, to the amazement of members, shows how to cut lacing for Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Haig, Mrs. Dorothy Aird and Mrs. Francis Holmes. Previously members had purchased the lacing on spools ready for use. The branch meets on the fourth Thursday of every month and until membership increases members will meet in homes. Mr. Haig also demonstrated one-piece wallets and Mrs. Haig demonstrated turning corners in leather.

The words above are the document’s own, as the paper prints them. Spelling and spacing are left as they stand.
