The Society’s records

Everything the Society’s own records say of Edith Webber: the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won. Where the records are silent, so is this part of the page.

Showed two pieces in the Society's exhibition at the Craft Gallery and Resource Centre of the Ontario Crafts Council, 346 Dundas Street West, Toronto, 2-28 March 1976.

From Exhibition catalogue 1976: Craft Gallery of the Ontario Crafts Council, Toronto, page 6.

Where this comes from

Edith Webber is named in the records of the Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft, the society of leather crafters founded in Toronto in 1950 that taught, exhibited and judged its members’ work until it closed in 2025. Its newsletters, papers and photographs are kept in this archive.
