Madame Huteau

← People of the Society

Everything the Society’s own records say of Madame Huteau — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.

Not a CSCL member. Wife of Monsieur Huteau, director of the Musée du Cuir at Château-Renault, near Tours, France; herself an historian and writer, author (with R. Changeux) of archaeological papers and a detailed local history of Château-Renault, and editor of the bulletin of "Les Amis du Musée du Cuir" from September 1980. Hosted René Hackstetter and Yolanta on their September 1991 visit to the museum and an operating tannery nearby; her death was learned of shortly after they returned home to Canada. Her own first name is not given on the page.

From Fall 1992, page 4.
