The Society’s Records
Mrs. Gordon Walker
← People of the Society · on record 1972
Everything the Society’s own records say of Mrs. Gordon Walker — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
Their work won First and Third Prizes at the Western Fair in 1972. The Society names this person only in the married style of its day — “Mrs. Gordon Walker” at both mentions — so the person the prize lists record is a woman, and her own given name is nowhere printed beside it.
From Winter 1972–73, page 10.
