Possibly the same person: Dorothea Sirman →
The Executive elected on 9 April 1960 is printed with “Advertising Chairman: Mrs. R.P. Sirman, Toronto”; the Fall 1959 list prints “Recording Secretary: Mrs. Dorothea Sirman” at the same Toronto address as the Toronto Branch’s President, Mr. Richard Sirman. Mrs. R.P. Sirman is very likely Dorothea Sirman in the year after her term as Recording Secretary, but no source gives both forms of the name.

Where this comes from
R.P. Sirman is named in the records of the Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft, the society of leather crafters founded in Toronto in 1950 that taught, exhibited and judged its members’ work until it closed in 2025. Its newsletters, papers and photographs are kept in this archive.
