Sheila Irvine
The Society’s records
Everything the Society’s own records say of Sheila Irvine: the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won. Where the records are silent, so is this part of the page.
Named in a correction on 1955-fall p10 as the only one of three co-authors of an earlier "Leathercraft as Therapy" article who was a registered occupational therapist.
From Autumn 1955, page 10.
Where this comes from
Sheila Irvine is named in the records of the Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft, the society of leather crafters founded in Toronto in 1950 that taught, exhibited and judged its members’ work until it closed in 2025. Its newsletters, papers and photographs are kept in this archive.
