The Hamilton Leather Guild invites you to the 67th Annual Convention Weekend for The Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft

 

Friday May 5th
Check in after 3 p.m. 
Branch’s set up tables 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. 
Coffee break & Registration 5:30pm
Executive Meeting 6:30 p.m. (Executive only)
Workshop Activity. 7 – 9pm
Meet and Greet 9 p.m. to ? 
The Display Hall will be closed from the time the Judging starts judging until 8:00 am Saturday.

Saturday May 6th 
Tea & Coffee and Registration 8:30 a.m.
Annual Meeting 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 
Demo/workshop –10:00 to 12:00
Tour of Tundra and P/A Plastics
Lunch on your own hook noon til 1pm 
Draw Ticket Sales 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Demo/workshop –1:00 to 2:45 p.m.
Coffee Break 2:30 
Demo/workshop 3:00 – 5:30
Draws 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Visitors to View Displays 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Banquet 6:30 pm. with Bar
Draws during Dinner – President Draws 
Entertainment – Birds of Prey – Live demonstration of the birds and the Leatherwork needed for falconry.

Craftsman Ribbons – for outstanding craftsmanship, creativity and imagination
Salon Ribbons – for their unique, original or outstanding idea or work

Money Prizes $50 for Winner
Irva Ford Memorial Award – for molded work, Robert Muma Memorial Award – for tooling or colour work 
Best in Show – selected by Fellows 
Best Fellow Member Piece 
Best Associate Member Piece 
Best General Member

Fellow, Associate and Weston Trophy Judging April 23, 2017
All Fellow, Associate and Weston Trophy pieces must be mailed or delivered to Tundra Leather, Attn: Sean Dalgetty, 313 King Street East, Hamilton, Ontario L8N 1C1. All items must arrive by 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22nd, 2017. If sending by courier it is recommended that they arrive by Thursday April 21st.

Non-Members
Non-Members are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting and demo/workshops on payment of extra registration fee but will not have voting power. 
Non-Members may attend the banquet paying the banquet fee.
