HAMILTON:
NUDE PICTURE - Could have been improved with a bit darker shading background, or possibly frame. Perspective in the legs not quite true. Beautifully moulded - leather adapts well to the contouring. 78%
JUG - Handle a bit too large. Edges finished nicely. Saddle stitching well spaced. 78%
TRAY - Nice back. Sits well. Interesting decoration, and nicely polished. Embossing Wheel design around centre panel very appropriate. 85%
PURSE - Handles could have been stitched on, not riveted. Gussets nicely formed, although they protrude a bit. A touch of finish dressing on the lacing would have improved appearance. As a whole, the carving was fairly good. Some of the ornamental cuts a bit poor. Nice appearance. 77%
SHOE HORN - Beautifully done - a lovely, classy piece. Stitching excellent. 82%
