2024 C.S.C.L. ANNUAL MEETING

Held at the RAMADA by Wyndham, Lindsay, Ontario
Friday night we had a
contest for those who
wanted to participate. Each
person was given a bag of
scrap leather and they had
to make something with it in
a certain time limit.

Items where then numbers
and all the people attending
voted on the one they liked
best.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place got
Tim Horton Gift Cards.

Jimmy Wilkes was presented with an
Honorary Associate Membership by
Sean Dalgetty, C.S.C.L .President.

Saturday morning we held our Annual
Meeting, had a coffee break and then
began our first workshop, making a belt.
We could either do a buckle or a ring style.

We then had an enjoyable lunch from our
local Bakery.

After lunch we did shaving cream dying on
a pouch for your belt and on a leather
apron.

A picture of the apron and the pouches is
shown below.

We then had draws for the White Elephant
Table.

Saturday evening we enjoyed a delicious
supper at Castle John’s Restaurant which is
attached to the Hotel.

The two types of belts, pouches that were dyed using the
saving cream method and the dog collar and led.
