1954 Received certification as Registered x-ray Technologist, Hamilton
Went to St. Thomas Hospital to work as x-ray technologist
1960 Returned to Hamilton
1962 Enrolled in leather course at night school, Hamilton, for 8 years (Teacher: Irva Ford).
Joined Hamilton Leather Guild, Hamilton Handicraft Guild (now the Artisans Guild of Hamilton)
And Canadian Society for Creative Leathercraft (CSCL)
1966 Received ** Associate standing in CSCL (ACSCL)
1965 Had winning articles in WESTON TROPHY Inter-branch competition, as well as in 1968, 69,78, 79,
80, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94
1973 Radiographer at DOFASCO Inc., Hamilton
1970s Attended workshops with bursaries from Artisans Guild (under Dave Trotter, as well as
Rex Lingwood and Paul Williams)
Conducted international leather workshops in Buffalo and Rochester, New York
