Branch
Doug Tigchelaar entered a saddle-stitched container for leather-working tools, with a retractable handle and a carved whitetail buck on its lid, made from a pattern given him by a fellow guild member, in the Society's 2024 competition. He won the Betty Heacock Memorial Award for the best novice piece at that year's Virtual Annual Competition.
