Betty Heacock
← People of the Society · on record 1961–2001
Everything the Society’s own records say of Betty Heacock — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
In memoriam · before 2005
Treasurer of the Society in 1961 and a member as late as the 1997 membership list; of Sharon/Barrie. The Spring 2005 newsletter (p3) records that her husband, Fred Heacock, made a "generous donation making the ‘Betty Heacock Award’ a reality," calling her "the late Betty Heacock" — placing her death between the 1997 list and Spring 2005, no closer date found. The award (for a new or novice member’s best piece) is renamed the "Betty Heacock Memorial Award" from the 2010 newsletters on. The same woman as "Elizabeth Heacock, Barrie" in the 1969 newsletters.
From Spring 2005, page 3.
