Sandy Coutts

← People of the Society · on record 1974

Everything the Society’s own records say of Sandy Coutts — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.

In memoriam · 1974

Of the Barrie Branch, husband of Eleanor Coutts, who had died in the autumn of 1973. The Spring 1975 newsletter remembers them together as "a gentle and lovable Barrie couple… deeply missed by all members": she an excellent craftswoman who won several awards, he a member of the executive council remembered above all for his demonstrations on adjusting, enlarging and reducing designs. The page names him only as "her husband Sandy"; the surname is hers. No date beyond the year is given.

From Spring 1975, page 11.
