With her husband Colin, she opened the basement workroom of their house in Grassie, Ontario, to the Hamilton Leather Guild's meetings. Her work won the Woodstock Heritage Award in 2018 and 2019, the Irva Ford Moulded Leather Award in 2018, the Non-Traditional Piece Award in 2019, and Best Moulded in 2021, along with Craftsman, Salon and Craft Ribbons across those years. The Hamilton Branch report in the 66th Annual Meeting reports (2016) prints the surname “Pardon”; the Society's other papers print Paddon.
