Winnifred Comfort
← People of the Society · on record 1961–1980
Everything the Society’s own records say of Winnifred Comfort — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
In memoriam · 1996
Of Smithville; a founding member of the Hamilton Leathercraft Guild in 1956, present at its 35th-anniversary charter-member gathering in 1991. "During 1996, the guild lost a founding member, Winnie Comfort from Smithville"; no further detail given by that source. The Society's certification records carry her as Winnifred Comfort (Associate, 1961); both forms are hers, and "Winnie" is kept here since it is what this source and the branch's own 1991 anniversary retrospective print.
Also recorded as Winnie Comfort
