Summary

A Toronto Star crafts column on Lillian Kay, a leather artist working full-time in her Downsview studio, whose prize-winning work was then touring North York's public libraries. It traces her return to leatherwork through recreation-therapy training at Humber College, describes her sculpted figure pictures and her functional pieces, and notes that she was a director of the Ontario Crafts Council and corresponding secretary of the Society, printed there as the Canadian Society for Creative Leatherwork.
