Don Hannington
← People of the Society · on record 1977
Everything the Society’s own records say of Don Hannington — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
Possibly the same person: Dan Hanington →
The Society printed the Hamilton maker’s surname three ways: “Hanington” in the Summer 1976 Weston Trophy report, “Harrington” in the Leather ’76 award list three pages later in the same issue, and “Hannington” in the 1977 Craftsman Ribbon tally and in the Hamilton slate of the 1977 Annual Meeting programme. “Don Hannington” appears once, in the Canadian National Exhibition list of October 1977 — the same year and the same surname as the Hamilton maker, and possibly the same person with the given name misread. That entry stands in the Women’s Division of the list, which the archive has not been able to reconcile, so the two records are kept apart.
Won recognition in the Women's Division at the Canadian National Exhibition in 1977.
