A Society workshop on hinged leather boxes, held at Norland on Saturday 19 November 2016, from 10 am to 3 pm. The fee, $45 for members and $50 for others, covered the leather, adhesive and blades; each participant brought dyes and finishes, a knife, a head knife, a gouge and a small edger. The workshop was held at the community hall where the Norland Branch meets, and by the end of the day everyone had completed a box.
