On 15 April 2018 the Society's Fellows met in Hamilton to judge the Weston Trophy, for which two branches had entered their work, and the pieces of two members applying for a higher grade: Kim Winchester for Fellow and Lester Pinter for Associate. The results were announced at the 2018 Annual. One of Kim Winchester's pieces, made as a gift, was not shown until its owner had received it. The Society's Facebook page, three posts of 15 April 2018, with 19 photographs.
