Meeting held at Paul’ Office, Mississauga
Attending Members: Gord Hammel, Karen Weber, Richard Borrow, Elizabeth Gyuran, Barry Taylor, Jim
Wilkes, Paul Kitchener, Lester Pinter, Kim Winchester
Meeting Minutes from May 16, 2019: Approved as read. As moved by Karen, seconded by Paul and
approved by all.
Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as presented. As moved by Karen, seconded by Lester and approved by all.
Membership: We currently have 16 members confirmed. Membership cards will be distributed soon.
Communications:
I hope we are all working hard on creating some crafts for the “Wearable Art Show” on October 24 – 26
2019.
The theme this year is leather. The Show has offered to MSCL Feature display space at no change. This is a
value of $400.00 to us so we can show off our creative projects. There are no royal fees for the leather
projects we sell.
Karen will have her own booth “Gunna Designs”. Richard will be show casing his many projects, along with
Elizabeth’s “Bella” Designer purse. Display board may also be required to fill in the table.
Elizabeth has volunteered her time to man the booth on Thursday & Friday, Richard, Kim and others will also
be available as well throughout the weekend. Set up will be at noon on Thursday October 24, 2019.
Applefest Fall Fair on Sept. 22 at Ireland House Museum, Burlington, ON. Unfortunately, no one is available to
participate this year. Paul will let them know.

Workshop this week shall be the continuation of the change pouch.
Please bring, silver pen for tracing pattern, knife (to cut out pattern & leather), carving tools / Stamping tools,
punches/pricking iron, lace, lacing needles,
