Meeting held at Paul’ Office, Mississauga

Attending Members: Richard Borrow, Doug Schavo, Bob Pfister, Elizabeth Gyuran, Eugene Pik, Jim Wilkes,
Paul Kitchener, Lester Pinter, Kim Winchester

Meeting Minutes from April 11, 2019: Approved as read. As moved by Bob, seconded by Richard and
approved by all.

Treasurer’s Report: Let the minutes of the Treasures Report be accepted as presented. As moved by Paul,
seconded by Jimmy and approved by all.

Membership: A new year begins and Membership Fees dues April 1, 2019 in the amount of $50.00. We
currently have 16 members confirmed.

Communications:

Lester Pinter applied for and received his Fellowship Designation. Congratulations!
Richard Borrow applied for and received his Associate Designation. Congratulations!
The works completed by these two gentlemen is outstanding!

Paul had a phone call from Gary Cook. He is unwell and is considering donating / selling his tools. He will let
us know what he plans to do at a later date.

Old Business:

I hope we are all working hard on creating some crafts for the “Wearable Art Show” on October 24 – 26 2019.

Applefest Fall Fair on Sept. 22 at Ireland House Museum, Burlington, ON.
Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 from 11 am - 4 pm. The event’s attendance ranges from 2,000 to 3,000
attendees and has been a tradition within the community for over 20 years. Here is a link to a video of last

New Business:

New plans for our meetings - focus on “all workshop – craft” – no “business chat”. This may also include
having a weekend workshop as well.
