The Society’s Records
Emma Rothenburger
Everything the Society’s own records say of Emma Rothenburger — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
In memoriam · reported Winter 1984
Of Ingersoll, Ontario, whose death the Winter 1984 newsletter (p. 3) reported together with Sylvia Gerster's: “They will be missed by all their friends in the Society.” No date is given. The President's Message to the 35th Annual Meeting counts her among the members lost during the 1984-85 season; those two notices are the whole of the record.
From Winter 1984–85, page 3; and 35th Annual Meeting 1985 — programme, The Continental Inn, Barrie, page 3.
