Member-at-Large · member since 2007
A Member-at-Large of the Society, and its Member-at-Large Appointee from 2012 to 2023, as the Members-at-Large final report of May 2026 gives the span; she was also the Society's Secretary from 2021 to 2023 and wrote five summers of the Larmour Library review. Under the name Lauren McPherson she served as a Director in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Woodstock Leather Guild, and was one of the nine members whose work was shown in Leather 2013: Creative Versatility at the Woodstock Art Gallery, 12 January to 2 March 2013, each writing about their own pieces in the exhibition’s own pages. The Society's papers print her under both surnames, and the Members-at-Large reports printed with the 66th and 69th Annual Meeting reports (2016 and 2019) each carry both in one report — headed “Lauren McPherson, MAL Representative” and signed “Lauren Malec, MAL Representative”.
