Widow of charter member Don MacKinnon. The Society's Executive Council lists of 1956 and 1957 name her — those of Autumn 1956 and Winter 1956–57 as her husband's alternate, printed “Mrs. May MacKinnon” — while a 1959 report says she joined the Executive Council that year, and the 1959–60 list names her a Member at Large, printed “Mae McKinnon”. She served on the Council through the late 1950s and into the 1960s, and was made an Honourary Life Member in 1979.
