A member of the Society in Toronto for over thirty years, whose other interests were dolls and stamps, her work won a Craftsman Award in 1980. She served on the Canadian National Exhibition's Exhibition and Sale Committee in 1970, where the page prints her name as Margaret La Chappelle, and wrote “Glove Etiquette,” a short history of glove-wearing custom, for the Summer 1982 newsletter under the byline Margaret LaChapelle, the year before her belt won a Craftsman Ribbon in 1983. She died in 1997.
