Lasting Boxes - CSCL workshop
← Back to the Photo Gallery · 3 photographs
A workshop on lasting boxes, shaping leather over a form, which was well attended and turned a profit for the Society. Paul Kitchener gave the space and donated some of the leather used; Lauchlan Harrison and Sean Dalgetty were on hand to advise. The record gives two dates for it, and both are kept here: the Society's own newsletter calls it the Fall workshop, with no day given, while the photographs themselves are dated 3 May 2015, in the spring. Which is right, or whether two gatherings are being remembered as one, the surviving papers do not settle. Reported in the Society's newsletter for Spring 2016, page 3, which also points readers to these very photographs on page 10.
