Minutes of the Last Meeting(s)
Motion by Jim that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (November 27, 2020) be accepted as
read by Lauren. Seconded by Kim. Carried.
Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Annual is postponed: TBD. In the news more similar small groups are going virtual.
b) Zoom AGM: No new numbers reported. Motion by Della that a Zoom AGM be held at the
end of April, beginning of May. Seconded by Eugene. Carried. Some details: invitation
by Lauch; ‘submit photos for judging—photo quality description’ by Eugene; no Weston
Trophy; all reports due; tentative for May 8 (10AM-noon); photo submissions due April
17 by email to Lauch for judging April 24 via Zoom.
c) Membership Lists: Executive have the 11/25/20-revised copy however Bob
Richardson is the only new deletion as a non-member.
d) Update list ‘leathercrafting sites/videos/dealers/retailers/wholesalers’: Lauch added
District Leather Goods in Vancouver, Little King Leather Goods, Rocky Mountain
Leather for everyone to search and appraise.
e) Meeting of Fellows: Lauch will ask Sean based on plans for virtual AGM.
f) Valuating Leather Donations or Estates Policy/Decision Ladder: on hold.
g) Workshops: Lauch provided costing - Key Fob $1.45 each for 150 units plus a CSCL
insignia Die cost approx. $220 and additional Postage $1.40 each ($210 approx.). On
hold.
h) How do we charge for Merchandise or Patterns or tools, etc.? e-transfer and ‘how to do
Key Fob with non-tools’ discussed.
i) Extended time period for eligible projects, Annual Reports, etc.: last year and this year’s
reports are due as per normal and within the virtual AGM.
j) Annual Dues: No change.

k) Newsletter: Fall 2020 posted January 5. Each member present is requested to contribute a submission by the next deadline (April 15). Website subscription sign-up is not working. ECO agreed to notify Executive of future new newsletter posting.

b) Council of Fellows – Sean Dalgetty – No Report.
c) Treasurer's Report – Della Chynoweth – Bank balance is $9,244. The GIC earned $26 interest. Bank charges were $9. Upcoming insurance renewal discussed and its funding possibly to be voted on at AGM.
d) Bulletin – Barbara Chynoweth – See (k) above.
e) ECO – Eugene Pik – No changes.
f) Membership – Kim Winchester – No new.
g) Library – Paul Kitchener – No Report.
h) Workshop Program – Lauch Harrison/Jim Wilkes/Lester Pinter – No Report.
