Report to CSCL Executive

Fellows of CSCL Meeting
February 27th, 2024 On Skype at 7:30pm

Fellows Meeting: Lauch, Eugene, Sean, Kim, Nancy, & Betsy
Call to Order
Minutes of last meeting February 17th, 2023 and Annual Report were accepted as read
Business Arising from Last Meeting and new Business

1. Virtual Annual Competition – the Competition will close on April 18, 2024, two weeks prior to In person
Annual. The virtual Competition will be open on March 21, Scores to be tabulated before Judges Meeting
on April 28 to coincide with Annual Branch Competition one week prior to Annual, Virtual will be Curated
by Eugene Pik and Judged Sean Dalgetty and Lauch Harrison
2. Annual Branch Competition Judging – April 28 with Associate /Fellow Entries - In Person Judges, Nancy
Durham, Sean Dalgetty & Lauch Harrison In Hamilton.
3. Annual General Meeting Competition in Norland – May 3, 4 & 5 - Judges Lauch & Sean & Nancy
4. Virtual Criteria: See attached list - Scores out of ten, Maximum 5 articles per member, 4 photos per article,
photos greater than 5MP all other details to mirror last Virtual.
5. Prizes for each Competition – Articles can not be entered in both competitions. Usual prize for both
competitions. The Best of Level given based on 3 or more members entering in each level. Ribbons
Awarded – Craft Ribbons & Salon Ribbons
6. Category for Prizes picked by Judges CSCL see list attached
7. Fellows voted in favour of including Bi-biennial prizes if the work is appropriate. Jack Maharg Award,
Bruce White Award, Michigan Soft Leather, and Lorriane Manual. The Fellows would seek the approval of
the Executive Council to give these Awards.
