Presidents Message

Welcome to the Annual General Meeting. Although Our Society is still shrinking, we gather here in
Lindsay at the behest of the Norland Leather Guild to shake our fist at those who allow our Society to
dwindle.
We must struggle and work to pass the craft to a new generation. Our challenge will be finding a
ways to keep knowledge alive.

The Virtual Photo Competition was held a couple of weeks ago and the quality of the work was
outstanding. Please go on line and take a look at the prize winning pieces, there is some exceptional work.
I know it is tough to make the time, to do the planning, to do the work, to come to the Annual and have
your work judged. How else can we improve? I hope the pieces shown here are as bold.
The The Workshop Program will keep us busy and inspire more work in the coming year. While they
may be messy I think they will be fun.
The mainstay of our Society rests in Norland, the long standing members of this Host Guild have
been instrumental in keeping CSCL alive.
