  • Associate of the CSCL 1976
    Woodstock. Twenty-three years in leathercraft and ten a member; taught by Stan Blair and Clara Cavanagh, and exhibited at Forest Fair ’72, Leather ’74 and Leather ’76. The same page records that she took the Zalitis pin that year “for the highest standing among new Associates”. Contemporary minutes of the 26th Annual Meeting (CSCL Documents, “77 annual”, p.5) confirm the pin and give her town as Forest, Ontario.

Of Woodstock. She showed two pieces at Leather '74, the Society's exhibition at the Toronto Public Libraries' Learning Resources Centre, 666 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, 3-28 June 1974, and one piece in the Society's exhibition at the Craft Gallery and Resource Centre of the Ontario Crafts Council, 346 Dundas Street West, Toronto, 2-28 March 1976. An Associate of the Society from 1976, taught by Stan Blair and Clara Cavanagh, she took the Zalitis Pin that year for the highest standing among new Associates. Her work won the Leather '76 Craftsman and Salon Awards, and she was later named to the Society's roll of Ontario Volunteer Service Award recipients. She made a square for the CSCL Leather Quilt.

    Awarded for the highest standing among that year’s new Associates (with Hope Drysdale). Printed "Zalitis", not "Zelaitis".
  • Ontario Volunteer Service Award 2002
    Announced by Dorothy McPherson and Kevin Armstrong at the 52nd Annual Meeting, ACSCL, Woodstock (posthumously). The Official Awards were to be presented at a ceremony not yet announced on this page.
