She founded the Norland Branch with Hilda Chynoweth — the branch began in April 1978, as the branch’s own account of 1981 tells it, the fall 1995 newsletter’s history of the “Norland Leather Society” giving the year only — and served as its Vice-President and then President from 1979 to 1980 and later as the Society's Director in 1982 and 1983. Her work won a Craftsman Ribbon in 1983.
