A one-day Society workshop on moulded leather masks, held on Sunday 15 October 2017 at Focused on Food in Mississauga. Members chose from three or four patterns, shaped vegetable-tanned leather, and used dye, paint and surface decoration to give their masks a macabre or a fun look. Registration was $50 for members and $65 for others, with materials included. Lauch Harrison worked up the patterns, in three choices (skull, reptile and mammal), basing the styles on Sean Dalgetty's work. The workshop's own flyer, “CSCL Workshops presents Leather Masks”, Sunday October 15, 2017, 10:00am to 4:00pm, in the Society's Document Archive. The patterns: Lauch Harrison's e-mail of 8 October 2017, forwarded by Paul Kitchener.
