Executive Meeting Friday January 31, 2019

Paul Kitchener called in, he advised us that he could not get his Skype to work so would not be attending meeting.

The Minutes of November 2019 were not available. (these will have to be taken care of at the next meeting.)
Business Arising from the last meeting
Annual – Date has been set for May 8, 9 and 10, 2020 at the Vistors Inn, Hamilton
Invitations will be sent out in February.
Acton – No update at the moment
Membership – Jim will check with Kim to make sure that the membership cards were sent to the MAL's.
Estates – No update from Lauch.
Reports
1st Vice President – Jim Wilkes – No Report.
Council of Fellows – Sean Dalgetty – No Report.
Treasurer's Report – Della Chynoweth – There has not been any expenses or receipts since last meeting.
Newsletter – Barbara Chynoweth - The Summer/Fall Newsletter has been done and she is working on the Winter edition. Should have it ready for March.
Web – Working Fine. Any emails are being forwarded to Lauch.
Membership – Kim Winchester - No report
Library – Paul Kitchener – No report.
Correspondence – Jim reported that Richard's Mother had passed away. Barbara will send a Sympathy Card from the CSCL.

• Workshop – Jim reported that the Workshop Committee is working on organizing a Workshop
probably in April with Karen Webber.
Branch Reports
Hamilton – Lauchlan Harrison – No Report.
Mississauga – Jim Wilkes – Talked about plans for what items they want to make for the Weston
Trophy.
Norland – Barbara Chynoweth – Worked on making a one piece wallet.
MAL- Lauren Malec - Went through a pile of “Make It With Leather” looking at patterns. Found some
coin purse patterns.
New Business
Jim reported that Knotty Linda will be in Ontario the last of May/first of June and is willing to do a
workshop – possibly 6 – 8 people.
Jim showed us the Medal of Appreciation that he received for his services to The International Internet
Leathercrafters' Guild, Inc. (IILG.net). He has been a member since 1998/99. (Jim remember to send
Barbara a picture of you with the medal for the Newsletter).
