Minutes of May 22, 2020 distributed (reading waived due to no quorum).
Minutes of November 1, 2019 were not available; deemed lost.
Minutes of April 24, 2020 were not available; deemed lost.
Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Postponed Annual General Meeting: due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19
pandemic and cancellation of The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair it was agreed upon
to cancel the 70th Anniversary until 2021. Barbara requests the 2020-2021
membership list from Kim in order to send a cancellation notice to all members.
b) Acton Leathertown Festival – August Sales Booth & Demonstrations: Lauch reported
that the Acton BIA has cancelled it due to the pandemic.
c) Sites for good leathercrafting videos as part of our duties: it is most convenient to
follow Tandy Leather, Tundra Leather, member videos.
d) On Hold - Associate Level Benchmarks Schedule Meeting of Fellows: no date set.
e) Valuating Leather Donations or Estates Policy/Decision Ladder: no report.
f) Workshops on hold - Gloves: logistics of a workshop via videoconference discussed.
g) Thank you to Lauren as new Backup Secretary for the May meeting Minutes.
h) Extended time period for eligible projects: not determined.
i) Annual reports – still undecided as to report period.
j) Newsletter needs NEWS and articles, book reports, updates, website reviews . . .
