Executive Meeting Friday, March 27, 2020

Business Arising from the last meeting
Annual 2020
Discussion regarding postponement of the Annual.
Motion by Barb That The 70th Anniversary Annual that was to be held in May will have to be postponed to later
in the year due to the current COVID 19 Pandemic where as the Ontario Government’s Emergency Order is in
effect at the moment. A date to be determined at the next meeting. Seconded by Jim, Accepted
Discussion regarding possible to coincide with Acton in August. Lauch will reach out to Karen regarding contacts
in Acton. Further discussions at next meeting.
Benchmark Passports - Being put on hold. Waiting on Sean.
Valuation of Estates - Lauch is still working on it.
Reports
• 1st Vice President – Jim Wilkes – No Report.
• Council of Fellows – Sean Dalgetty – No Report.
• Treasurer’s Report – Della Chynoweth – Received money from Sheena for Hamilton. Insurance is due,
$1,036.80. There is a new insurance company.
• Newsletter- Barb Chynoweth - It is pretty much ready to go.
• Web- Eugene Pik- No Report
• Membership – Kim Winchester - Kim is waiting on Hamilton’s member list. Lauch will send it to Kim.
• Library – Paul Kitchener- No Report
• Correspondence – No Report
• Workshop – Lauch/Jim/Lester - Welcome Lester! Lester has come on board to help out with Workshops.
The next workshop will be October 19th in Norland- Tool Sharpening.

Moccasin Workshop, Lauch to go over the Story Boards and get back to Barb.
Privacy Officer – No Report
Branch Reports
Hamilton – Lauch Harrison – Early March since last meeting.
Mississauga – Jim Wilkes – meetings on hold - last meeting worked on tooling patter with precision screw driver set on belt.
Norland – Tracey Howard– Last meeting in February, meetings on hold.
New Business
Liability Insurance- There was a discussion about not renewing the insurance, but we need to have it in place to cover individual executive members personally.
Motion by Barb to pay in Liability Insurance, 2nd by Jim, Accepted.
Next Executive meeting to be held April 24, 2020 by Zoom.
Motion to Adjourn made by Lauch, seconded by Jim.
