Minutes of the Last Meeting(s)
Motion by Lauren that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (January 22, 2021) be accepted as read.

Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Virtual Annual ZOOM AGM is set for Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon.
b) Members are permitted to enter competition as long as dues are paid in full for the 2020-21
year.
c) Update list ‘leathercrafting sites/videos/dealers/retailers/wholesalers’: Jim suggests
www.eleanaworkshop.com.
d) Meeting of Fellows: held Wednesday, February 24 via ZOOM. Virtual judging is going to
happen April 17 and April 25. Rules apply as per Fellows Meeting Minutes “Criteria for the
Virtual Leatherwork Annual Competition” presented by Lauch as follows:
A. Must be a paid-up member to attend AGM or Judging.
B. Photos are to be uploaded to the CSCL website prior to April 17, 2021.
C. Maximum of articles/item per Member is 5.
D. Minimum of 4 photos per item photos.
E. Photos must be in focus and at least 5 MP or above 2000 pixel on the longest side.
F. Brief Description and Membership level: General, Associate, Fellow included in the email.
G. Judging will be anonymous; only Eugene will know the Maker.
H. ZOOM Judging on Sunday, April 25 at 10 a.m.
I. Category for Prizes picked by Judges.
J. No Associate, Fellow or Weston Trophy Judging.
K. Number of Judges will be at least 4.
L. Judge scoring: 0 – 5 from each judge then averaged for a percent score.
M. Photos will be available for Members to see online after the Annual on Google Albums.
N. Crowd Favorite if we can find a way to collect the votes: Executive decided against this and
there will not be a Draw Table.
e) Workshops: Key Fob $1.45 each, updated costs: New ‘plastic die’ option.

f) How do we charge for Merchandise or Patterns or tools, etc.: Lauch presented WordPress method and associated costs thru Instagram and Facebook similar to Shopify and WooCommerce. Discussion.
g) Annual Reports: last year and this year's reports are due as per normal to Barbara to be distributed to all Members.
h) Annual Dues: next year due by March 31, 2021. Donations from Members and the Associated Guilds remains a support option.
i) Newsletter needs NEWS and articles, book reports, updates, Christmas ideas, website reviews: deadline April 15, 2021.
