Motion by Lauren that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (March 26, 2021) be accepted as

Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Virtual Annual ZOOM AGM Saturday, May 8 (10 a.m. to noon): ZOOM invitation by
Eugene and Membership List by Kim go to Barbara to email out.
b) Membership lists paid up members only to attend AGM or Judging: changed to paid and
unpaid.
c) Upcoming Slate of Officers and Executive Council Members: by Lauch for 2021-2023
and approved as follows:

e) Fellows Judging Report, April 25, 2021: see Page 3 herein, submitted by Lauch. Motion
by Lauch to pay these. Seconded by Kim. Carried.
f) Virtual Competition open for viewing to all members: Barbara’s invitation to include the
link.
g) Workshops - Key Fob $1.45 each, updated costs: What purpose will the fobs serve?: no
determinations and off the agenda for now.
h) How do we charge for Merchandise or Patterns or tools, etc.: no determinations and off
the agenda for now.

i) Annual Reports: last year and this year's reports are due by May 1 to Barbara. She needs the Minutes of the 69th Annual from Richard via Lauch.
j) Annual Dues: next year due by March 31, 2021.
k) Support from Sustaining Members in the form of product will not be required to maintain membership: until a physical annual.
l) Insurance Policy updated: payment reported last meeting.
m) Craft Ontario (CO): Della paid Affiliate Membership and CSCL is listed on their Directory
n) Newsletter needs NEWS and articles, book reports, updates, Christmas ideas, website reviews: will be online this week. Next deadline August 15, 2021. Also accepting notices of tools for sale.

f) Membership – Kim Winchester – Kim will mail out membership cards. Kim will create an 'e-certificate with description' as a pdf to replace ribbons and prizes and awards for this virtual annual. Kim presented her membership drive video concept on screen.

h) Workshop Program – Lauch Harrison/Jim Wilkes/Lester Pinter – No report.
i) Privacy Officer – Lauch Harrison – No Report.

Virtual Judges – Lauch, Sean, Betsy, Kim & Karen
1. Criteria for the Virtual Leatherwork Annual in future Competitions will be:
Judges will score entries out of 10 based on self derived criteria
Maximum of articles/item per Member is 5
Minimum of 4 photos per item photos must show all sides
Photos must be in focus and at least 5 MP or above 2000 pixel on the longest side
Short Explanation/Description of pieces will requested/allowed, less than 50 words.
2. List of Items & Scores in descending order was sent to all Fellows.
3. Seven Members - 3 General and 5 Fellow put in 26 Entries
4. The Best of Level was given for General Member & Fellow based on 3 or more members entering in
each level
5. Ribbons Awarded – 13 Craft Ribbons & 12 Salon Ribbons
6. Discussion of Results & Awards CSCL $ amount $170 Hamilton Guild $50
