Joyce Poulson
← People of the Society · on record 1974–1984
Everything the Society’s own records say of Joyce Poulson — the offices held, the standings conferred, and the awards won — gathered on one page. Where the records are silent, so is this one.
Also recorded as J. Poulson, Joyce Poulsom
Certification
- Associate of the CSCL 1974
The Council of Fellows’ report for 1974–75 and the minutes of the 24th Annual Meeting (CSCL Documents, “75 annual”, pp.7, 12) print “Joyce Poulson” for her Associate award and her 80.8% Zalitis Pin mark, and the c.1985 list types the same. Poulson is her spelling; later papers that print “Poulsom” keep what they print.
Named an Associate of the Society in 1974, she won the Zalitis Pin that year for the highest mark, 80.8, among the two members elected, and went on to serve as its Treasurer through the early 1980s and as an Executive Council Member in 1980.
From Summer 1982; and Autumn 1980, page 10.
