In memoriam · reported Spring 1985
A Toronto member, Chairman of the Society's Membership Committee from 1958 to 1960. The Spring 1985 newsletter (p. 11) reported that “Toronto members, Winnifred Coombs and John Trops have also recently passed away.” The notice is hand-written and spells her first name with the double n; the register keeps the Winifred of the executive lists, as it does for Winifred Barratt, whom the Society also printed both ways.

Toronto · member since 1951
A Toronto Branch member from 1951, she served on its early Executive Council and as Membership Chairwoman from 1958 to 1960, and was made an Honourary Life Member in 1979. She died in 1985. She also sat on the Society's Council for 1962-63 and on its Executive Council for 1963-64, chairing the Membership Committee again in 1963.
