Call to Order
By Lauch at 7:43 p.m.

Minutes of the Last Meeting(s)
No corrections reported. Motion by Barbara that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (June 26,
2020) be accepted. Seconded by Eugene. Carried.

Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Annual General Meeting: No change to postponement due to ongoing public concerns
regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Motion by Barbara that all members be
contacted by email in order to canvass to see if there is interest in participating in an
AGM Zoom meeting. Seconded by Eugene. Carried. Barbara requests the 2020-
2021 Membership List from Kim. Based on the membership response, Lauch
addressed the need for a pre-meeting test the month before of related audio
procedures. Motion by Della that Executive Council hold their positions until the
next AGM. Seconded by Jim. Carried.
b) Sites for good leathercrafting videos as part of our duties: Jim announced upcoming
classes at https://elktracksstudio.com/. Lauren liked https://shoptalk-magazine.com/ and recommends https://citizensofcraft.ca/.
c) On Hold - Associate Level Benchmarks Schedule Meeting of Fellows: no change.
d) Valuating Leather Donations or Estates Policy/Decision Ladder: no report.
e) Workshops remain on hold: Gloves require a lot of practice, deemed unwise to proceed
via videoconference. Discussion.
f) Extended time period for eligible projects: determined to be until next physical AGM.
g) Annual reports – still undecided as to report period: no change.
h) Annual Dues – Suspension?: leave open, held over until scheduled.
i) Newsletter needs NEWS and articles, book reports, updates, website reviews: Spring
Issue is online. Summer Issue ready to go out. Fall Issue call for Christmas articles
submissions.

Reports
a) 1st Vice President – Jim Wilkes – No Report.
b) Council of Fellows – Sean Dalgetty – No Report.
c) Treasurer's Report – Della Chynoweth – Bank balance is same ($9,111.24) plus the Mississauga Branch membership cheque received. Della asks that Mississauga send the member names that correspond to this payment.
d) Newsletter – Barbara Chynoweth –see (i) above.
e) ECO – Eugene Pik – Website is working fine and Spring newsletter is uploaded.
f) Membership – Kim Winchester – No Report. Lauch requests the new 2020-2021 Membership List be sent ASAP to all Branch Presidents, President, MAL Rep., Treasurer, Editor.
g) Library – Paul Kitchener – No Report.
h) Workshop Program – Lauch Harrison/Jim Wilkes/Lester Pinter – No Report. See (e) above. Eugene offered an enormous supply of Snap24's and Jim has 5,000 split rings; Kim is asked to send the Membership List to the Branch Presidents and MAL Rep in order for them to canvass for workshop ideas incorporating these supplies.
i) Privacy Officer – Lauch Harrison – No Report.
j) Correspondence, Sympathy Cards – Barbara Chynoweth – None.

Branch Reports
Hamilton – Lauchlan Harrison – Meetings at Colin's while maintaining COVID-19 measures, braiding to gear up for whip making, 2 new members started carving and making belts.
Mississauga – Jim Wilkes – No meetings. A potential new member is looking to join a branch.
Norland – Barbara Chynoweth – No meetings, venue remains closed.
MAL – Lauren Malec – Lauren notified all MAL of uploaded Spring newsletter; Madeleine replied with her new cell phone custom leathercraft cover. To date no entries received in the Summer School Door Prize contest printed in the Spring newsletter. London MAL commented highly on Lauch's newsworthy article recognizing the newly accredited Fellow, Lester Pinter at the 69th Annual.

New Business
a) Lauren notified that CSCL is absent from the Craft Ontario Affiliate Members Directory. Della hasn't received the spring renewal invoice.
b) Minutes of Friday, September 25, 2020 prepared by Lauren Malec.

Motion by Della to adjourn. Carried (8:48 p.m.).
