By Lauch at 7:40 p.m.

Minutes of the Last Meeting(s)

Motion by Lauren that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (October 28, 2022) be accepted as read by Lauren.

Correction: delete “Seconded by Lauch” under Adjournment. Seconded by Jim. Carried.

Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting

a) 15 MINUTE GUEST SPOT: Lauch will invite Greg Belenky for the spring or late winter.

b) EXECUTIVE LIST OF INTERESTING LEATHERCRAFT RESOURCES: Lauren offered news that Tundra
Leather, Hamilton, has Black Friday sales on today and the Craft Ontario Auction is running now. Artists
receive a tax receipt and are paid 50% of the final bid for donated items.

c) Anything new inside CSCL?: website/Facebook, book reports/YouTube: Jim recommended
elktracksstudio.com to find November sales on videos and more.

d) Tool Sales: Barbara will publish member lists in the December newsletter.

e) SAFETY RULES FOR WORKSHOPS: no report.

f) Clutch Purse Workshop in Norland: Lauch will send his photo of his finished project to Barbara.

g) Correspondence: Lauch will take the lead and reply to new inquiries received on the website.

Reports

a) 1st Vice President - Jim Wilkes - No report.

b) Council of Fellows - Lauch Harrison spoke to Sean - No report.

c) Treasurer’s Report - Della Chynoweth -See Page 2.

d) Newsletter - Barbara Chynoweth - S-O-N-D newsletter will be out December 15. Please send more news
to Barbara. She received a 3-page write-up from Alf (M.A.L.) in Norway.

e) ECO - Eugene Pik - No report.

f) Membership - Kim Winchester - No changes.

g) Library - Paul Kitchener - No report.

h) Workshop Program - Lauch Harrison/Jim Wilkes/Lester Pinter - See above.

i) Privacy Officer - Lauch Harrison - No report.

j) Correspondence - Lauch replied to a website inquiry, a leathercrafter moving from Africa to Cornwall,
Ontario, suggesting to call again when settled in.

Branch Reports

Hamilton-Lauchlan Harrison-8 members met to work on projects.

Mississauga-Jim Wilkes-Kim is assembling a bi-fold wallet kit for next meeting.

Norland-Barbara Chynoweth-Met and watched leather video and worked. Barbara is Program Manager and handed out copies of found fish skin item photos to generate interest in completing fish leather items.

MAL-Lauren Malec-Nothing new.

New Business

Motion by Barbara to add a new one-time award for the 2023 Annual for ‘leathercraft made of fish skins’, making good use of our Sea Leather Wear. Seconded by Kim. Carried.

Adjournment
Zoom expired at 8:05 and a few re-joined with poor audio. Motion by Lauren to adjourn. Carried (8:10 p.m.).
