Of London. Beyond his Advertising Committee chairmanship (1952-1954) and his Associate certification since 1953, the newsletter records him teaching an Instructors course in leather tooling in the winter of 1948-49 — Helen Wheaton's own “Who's Who” account names him as her instructor — and contributing two technique notes under his own byline to the newsletter's “Workshop Tips”, on padding a knife blade to spare the fingers and on pre-shrinking leather before tooling (1973-spring p6; 1954-fall p9; 1953-spring p13). A 1952 visitor poll at the Society's own exhibition also names a piece of his among those “receiving a good percentage of votes” (1952-53-winter p7).

From Spring 1973, page 6.
