Minutes of the Last Meeting(s)
Motion by Lauren that the Minutes of the Last Meeting (January 28, 2022) be accepted as read by Lauren. Correction by Barbara: A Zebra of a Different Stripe. Seconded by Della. Carried.
Business Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting
a) Virtual Annual: see attached Council of Fellows Report.
b) Entries will close April 30, 2022. See attached Council of Fellows Report.
c) GUEST SPOT: Julien Jans explained SEO (Search Engine Optimization) based on his experience starting his own leathercrafting website, wagramleather.com and .ca and Google Analytics. Lauch thanked Julien for his offer to help members with how Google ranks their online presence.
d) EXECUTIVE LIST OF INTERESTING LEATHERCRAFT RESOURCES: Lauch added his two videos.
e) Draw viewers to CSCL website/Facebook: Lauren to send updated LIST to ECO for Facebook post.
f) Requests for Library materials and patterns: must be a member and dealt with as arises.
g) Add member links to CSCL website: Branch Pres. or 2 Execs must view and allow.
h) Estate Estimates: General Fee of $100 to CSCL, based on proximity CSCL pays the member for their time.
i) Tool Sales: how to facilitate through CSCL and virtually on Google?/Facebook?/emails?
j) SAFETY RULES FOR WORKSHOPS: no report.

a) 1st Vice President – Jim Wilkes – No Report.
b) Council of Fellows – Sean Dalgetty – see attached report per Lauch.
c) Treasurer's Report – Della Chynoweth – no changes. Membership renewals coming in March and must be paid in full to enter articles at the Annual. A new MAL is mailing a cheque to join.
d) Newsletter – Barbara Chynoweth – next deadline is first week of April. Content needed and welcome. This issue to include the Annual Invitation and Rules For Entries.
e) ECO – Eugene Pik – no changes.
f) Membership – Kim Winchester – no changes.
g) Library – Paul Kitchener – No Report.
h) Workshop Program – Lauch Harrison/Jim Wilkes/Lester Pinter – exploring fish skin ideas.
i) Privacy Officer – Lauch Harrison – No Report.
j) Correspondence, Sympathy Cards – Barbara Chynoweth – no report.
Branch Reports

Mississauga – Jim Wilkes – No meetings.
Norland – Barbara Chynoweth – No meetings. The hall may be opening up soon.

Call to Order
Minutes of last meeting April 25th, 2021 Read and accepted.
Business Arising from Last Meeting
1. Timing
1. The Judging for the Virtual Annual will be on Wednesday May 11 at 7:30pm
2. Entries will close on April 30 At Midnight.
2. Judging Parameters
a) Judges will score entries out of 10
a) Judging will be anonymous only Eugene will know the Maker
b) 4 Fellows or more will attend the Judging
c) Judging marks will be submitted two days prior to the Judges Meeting
d) Craft Ribbons – A Majority of Judges scoring an item over 80 will result in a Ribbon
e) Salon Ribbons – A Majority of Judges indicating Craft will result in a Ribbon
f) The Best of Level will be given for 3 or more members entering in each level
g) Photos will be Available for Members to see
h) Category for Prizes picked by Judges CSCL Cash Prizes and Awards Best Moulding, Best Tooling or
Colouring (Robert Muma Award $50), Best Hard Sculpture ($20), Woodstock Heritage ($50). Best
General Member, Best Fellow, Best in Show ($50) and other Categories as deemed necessary.
3. Associate, Fellow or Weston Trophy Judging will only be Judged in person.
Criteria for the Virtual Leatherwork Annual Competition
to be released to the Newsletter and all the Branches.

Minimum of 4 photos per item. Photos must show all sides
