Aged 82. One of the founding fathers of CSCL and a Life Member; a wizard at design, carving and bookbinding who made the cover of the Annual attendance and registration book. Survived by his wife Marian and two daughters.

One of the founding fathers of the Society, present at its organizational meeting on 8 June 1950, he served as Vice-President and as President of the Toronto Branch in the early 1980s. He was made an Honourary Life Member in 1990 and died in 1999, aged 82, remembered as a wizard at design, carving and bookbinding.
