Certification

  • Associate of the CSCL 1955
  • Fellow of the CSCL 1962

An Associate of the Society from 1955 and a Fellow from 1962, she served for many years on its Executive Council and won prizes at the Canadian Handicrafts Guild competition through the 1950s and 1960s. Two of her pieces were chosen for “Ontario Crafts – Leather Today”, the Society’s Centennial travelling exhibition: a smoking set and a snapshot album. The Canadian Guild of Crafts (Ontario) selected the articles; the exhibition opened at the Guild Shop on 2 October 1967 and was to travel across Canada during 1968. She was made a Life Member in 1983 and named to the Society's roll of Ontario Volunteer Service Award recipients.
